Friend showers just twice a month.. i need advice and iin..

Okay so I know its not normal that she showers so little.. but I want to know what the nicest way is to tell her to shower more...any ideas?

Also is it normal that she once told me "I dont really like showering"

What should I do so she doesnt have any Body odor anymore and she doesnt have greasy hair?

have u ever asked why she doesn't like showering?

offer to do her hair more often but say something like, "this hairstyle will look super cute on you, oh but it(magazine/video)said u have to do it after u shower or it wont work" stuff like that. and/or maybe u can do like a poof and curl the ends. 'cause some curling styles require clean/freshly washed hair and u have to wash out the tease (poof). or u can say, while ur curling her hair, "oh gosh ur ganna have to wash ur hair later cause i'm using a LOT of hairspray. if u won't it becomes a sticky flaky mess!"

or u can always do her makeup. pretend to "test" out things. "That looks great! but remember to wash ur face or the makeup will block ur pores and u don't want that."

u can also get her a body wash/scrub/bubble bath soap with her absolute favorite fruit smell. "You smell so good/yummy! i should get me some of that wash/scrub/bubble bath soap!"

or u can tell her to try a certain/new shampoo that'll make her hair silky/fizz free (something that apllies to her hair type and at the same time u'll get her to shower more often)

or u can say her hair looks awesome/cute the day after she showers "Did u do something diff to ur hair? watever u did, it looks healthy!"

u can also convince her the style u did on her looks sooo amazing and that she should do it more often. say something like, "ur hair looks so cute! u should do it more often but it takes a lot of hair treatment but it's so worth it cause it looks so amazing!"

give her more compliments around the times she showers. or just spill stuff on her all the time that'll force her to shower lol. i only suggested stuff i did/used in the past with a friend with the same problems. she showers everyday now(: lol

Buy her some really awesome shampoo, soap, bodywash and deorderant... something fruity and impossiable to resist. I love lady speed stick deodorant it comes in so many awesome smells, green apple, watermellon tons of stuff maybe that will give her the hint..Do you expect she comes from an abusive home, that doesn't let her shower (mine was like that). If you don't think thats the case find a way to break it to her nicely once she gets showering into her daily routine she'll never know why she didn't in the first place. Maybe go on about how you couldn't live without your shower it's great to wake you up or calm you down for bed shes gotta get the hint

Go swimming, then she has to shower ^^, or to the beach.
My dad's favourite trick to get people to shower.

Lol, my old friend would do this. She said she liked how it made her hair feel. We went into a hot tub and the water around her looked oily, it was pretty bad. If you're real friends, she would understand if you told her. If you don't feel like being up front about it, make jokes that embarrass her slightly. After a while, she'll change. That's actually how I got one of my other friends to lose 50 pounds.

Have a food fight, get drunk and throw up on her, push her in mud, have shower sex, go to a water park, there's so many ways to make her shower without telling her

TRY THIS: Tell her the truth (and don't worry about hurting her feelings. If she can tolerate the funk of not showering for 4 weeks, she should be able to handle a few harsh words about it). Bring it up: Don't necessarily wait for the time. Let her know that you would not waste time or risk her being angry if you did not seriously care about her. Then tell her that she has a body odor. Ask her if she knows? (She should be able to smell herself). Tell her to try bathing instead of showering. Mention how relaxing bubble baths are. How nice it is going to bed squeaky clean. Nothing like the feel of freshly washed hair.

The person above made some good points. Make it fun for her....maybe a sort of make-over. But make sure she gets the point.,......and don't forget the deodorant!

She should be screened for depression. Could be something else too, but it isn't normal.
