Freinds dad

Yea it's normal. Nothing you say to her will help her pain go away. All you can do is tell her that you're there for her and ask her if she needs anything. Try to be as normal with her as possible. After this kind of loss she will need her life to go back to a more normal state.

I never know what to say.

My dad died and when he did all I wanted to know is that my friends would be there for me. Your friend is going to need alot of time to move on.
