For your fit wife to have stronger legs
My wife keeps real fit. I have weights around the house and use them for upper body toning. My wife goes to the gym alot, lifts weights on her legs mostly for her 10km runs and bikes alot. I was all pumped after benching sets and reps with 225lbs when she comes down to work out too. She was in her shorts and tank top and wanted me to help her do squats. No squat rack so I help her lift the 105 pound curling bar onto her shoulders. No way can she lift it up by herself. I knew she had good leg strength and she then rips off 25 deep squats like no business. She wanted me to try. I never do squats and boy I struggled to do 15 reps. She had to spot me to get in 3 more and I was all done in. My legs felt like rubber. She then does another 25 no problem. I could barely do 12 this time and again she had to spot me and my legs were quickly turning into jello.
I got 16 inch arms, a 46 inch muscular chest so I can bench 275 pounds. My legs are slim at 21 inches. My wife has like 10 inch arms and has trouble benching 75 pounds. Her legs are two inches thicker than mine but I think that is normal. Is this normal that she is lifting more than me with her legs? Is it normal for women to have stronger legs then a guy? Should I feel embarrassed? Especially cause I look really strong up top.
