I met this guy who honestly has got to be everything I've been searching for he's so sweet and cute and plus he actually works.. shocker right? we talked a few days lightly and through text he told me he was actually still married, that they had married too soon and too young and he realized they had too many differences to work through but he wasn't sure what he was going to do. After finding that out when he later asked if he could take me out to dinner I kinda ignored it even though I did want to go. I don't know if that would be a normal reaction or if I'm just being ridiculous.

    You are doing the right thing. Never get involved with a married person, male or female, and shame on him for being involved with somebody else too. It doesn't matter how crappy his marriage is. If he were really unhappy, he would be divorced. It's good to know there are decent people out there who would turn their back on the situation like you are doing now.

    How many times have you heard that old line, "Oh, my wife doesn't understand me." or "I'm going to leave my wife, just not right now." or a dozen more.
    Run, don't walk, away from this charming creep, because even if he one day does become yours, you can be absolutely certain that he will cheat on you too.

    Fuckin ay, you reacted the right way. You get to choose whom you allow in your life and in your heart. I don't care how great this guy's sob story about his failed marriage is; bottom line...he's the type of man who would cheat on his wife, and not the type of man you want anything to do with. You should never talk to that cunt again.
