For me to like someone who doesnt feel the same way

Ok. So here goes is it normal for me to like a girl who doesnt like me back? I mean like ive been daydreaming and actual wet dreams about her. I cant get her out of my mind and its driving me crazy. so she wouldnt think i liked her i played around saying "would you ever go out with me?" and her reponse was that i am too kind and adorable and sees me as just a friend nothing else. But its driving me crazy i dont know what to do :/
