For a pagan & a christian

Okay, my partner is Christian and I am pagan. I haven't had the courage to tell him because he believes pagans to be demonic. I love him with all my life but not sure if I should tell him. He says that the bible says not to judge others which that god is the only one who judges but I believe he already has. I respect his belief and always have but he gives me the feeling that what Christians do believe or understand gets labelled as demonic. I surely hope this isn't true but not sure if I should reveal it and lose him or just keep my mouth shut!

Well, if he doesn't accept you for who you are, then it probably won't work out. I would tell him before he finds out at a bad time. Truthfully, would you be more comfortable and happy with someone who loves you for who you are, and respects your opinion, or would you rather hide your true self and be uncomfortable with your partner? I would be myself, no matter what. Take me as I am, or don't take me at all. It's all a matter of choice.

Well, if it were a serious relationship, this would have already been talked about. If it was not talked about then it's probably because it doesn't matter. Now, if you really feel the need to tell him, go ahead and tell him.

How can you love sum1 so narrow minded that he could think you're a demon? Be careful not to get killed!

Tell him. No good keeping secrets. Tell him before he finds out himself and hurts himself.

Don't tell him, he'll think you're a succubus and have you exorcised. :P

Seriously though, he seems like an extremely narrow-minded person. I know you're probably in love right now and can't see clearly, but let's say you decide to get married. Will you betray your believes just so you can have a christian marriage like he probably wants?

If your partner cannot accept you for who you are - including your religion - then he or she isn't worth being with.

Not to mention the fact that the whole "Witches are in congress with satan" BS was invented just to justify burning people alive.... and more often than not, people were accused of being witches for political gain rather than for the truth.

Sometimes it is just better to keep things to yourself. Is he not knowing damaging your relationship? If not, let it be.

If he loves you, and he doesn't currently see you as demonic, then I don't know how he could continue thinking that after you tell him. Try.

Just talk with him about it. If you've been in this relationship for a while, then he should know you and know that you aren't a horrible person. I'm also a Christian but I wouldn't judge you based on your religion. You may have your differences but if he is as in love with you as you are him, he should take you as you are.
