It was a nice breezy day, I was cruising down the highway when I started to see all these white fluffies floating all over. It was mesmorizing. They weren't from dandelions and there was no laundromat nearby so it wasn't dryer lint. What is this magic?? :D Fairies maybe??? Just as quickly as my childish goofy grin appeared on my face, it was smeared away at the sight of the fairy fluff...someone whacked a goose at high speed just ahead of me :(

Is it normal that I then proceeded to laugh out loud at the silliness of my thought process, causing me to almost miss my exit?

    Ha ha made me laugh out loud at the contrast between floating fairies and the poor dead goose!

    Reminded me a bit of one of the local nutcases (she's sweet, but definitely a bit nuts) pointing at lights in the sky and saying "UFO, UFO!" until it was pointed out to her that it was the usual Sunday night flight from NZ to Melbourne flying over as it always does. A bit off topic I know, but that's what it reminded me of

    The white fluffies were probably seeds from trees. But anyway, it's normal to have odd thoughts at inappropriate times so long as you don't let it interfere with what you are doing. If you have no idea how to find your way back/had no GPS, you would of wound up lost after missing your exit like I have a few times.

      I thought it was tree sperm at first too, saw some floating around today, but OP said it was a mauled goose :/

    Milkweed? I loved that stuff as a kid... And cattails, I would break a little piece off the seeds so that any time I waved it around like a magic wand it would make a trail of fluffies like magic sparkles :)
