Fingering my ass after a poo before wiping?

I have got onto the habit of inserting a finger in my ass and having a little play/rub as it feels nice also soothes my bum if sore. I do this 90% of the time I go. Started occasionally about 18 months ago. I like doing it, am worried might damage tender tissue up there. I sometimes flick/rub so hard it makes me sore but it feels nice. I'm a clean person otherwise but I don't mind as I always clean my hands well afterwards. The poo is like a lube I guess and being in the loo is a safe convenient place to do it. Is it normal?

    Maybe you want to be sure your anus is clean then fine. I always thought that using toilet paper is not as clean as we think it is.
