Finding it hard to separate dreams from reality nowadays

I've noticed that I've been having trouble with separating what has happened in real life with what has happened in my dreams. It's quite disconcerting, because I don't want to talk about something with someone and end up sounding like a nutter because it didn't really happen.

I'm not talking about very weird things that obviously must have occured in a dream, but things which could have plausibly happened.

I can't even remember what things I was getting confused about today and yesterday. My memory is really confusing me...Quite worrying.

Anyway, is this normal at all?

Everytime you have a dream you should write down as much of it as you can remember. over time you will slowly be able to differentiate beyween what happens in your dreams and what you do in your day.

Heh, maybe I'll try, but I'm too lazy. Not enough patience for all that jazz. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yeh me too! A few weeks ago apparently my parents shouted me down to tell me that my tea was ready, but I thought it was in my dream because I was napping at the time. I always get it if people talk to me when I am asleep and expect me to understand what they've said, cos I seem to act hyponotized then.
    You in the same situation?
I think I'm just subconsciously dreaming up my normal everyday life and then confusing myself what was real and what was not. I had two teas last week because I was convinced the other was a dream lol...

Lol I'm sure that I've done the same sort of thing when I'm napping and I'm interrupted. That's when I get confused. People expect me to understand what they're saying and apparently I'll reply or react in some way, but when I wake up properly, I'll remember it as a dream.

  • I think you just have a very creative and active mind. Not always easy to live with - but it is a gift, cause you know what the alternative is ... right?

Hahaha! Yes, I do. In that case, I wouldn't wish it any other way.
