Yeah, I'm rediscovering the joys of glam metal. Why the hell did I ever stop listening to this in the first place?
Imo the genres that would best soundtrack a fight would be heavy metal and hard rock, e.g AC/DC: Thunderstruck, Alice Cooper: Poison, Led Zeppelin: Immigrant Song (a perfect battle song). They all get me pumped up (for a nice brisk walk, nothing more, lol I'm not a naturally aggressive person.)
Also, Bob Dylan's Hurricane would make the ideal 'get ready for a fight' song and it was of course the purpose of the song to arouse people's anger and encourage protests against racism and social injustice. I can't listen to that song just sitting down. It's still powerful and makes me feel like: the gloves are off!!!
No, I really doubt I'd even notice the music, honestly. A theme song, yes, like when I walk down the street or enter a room. Definitely.
