Feuding families iin?

If I was a relative of someone who was feuding another family. This person asks my help and I can't say no.(I can't say no because they helped me before... just this once but no more type of thing) My assistance is unrelated to their feud.
I am in their company because I am helping them otherwise I'd stay away from drama.
The family sees me different although I am neutral. One person is angry and vocal. Saying mean things that sting..I said I'm not involved but they don't care. Now my feelings are hurt and I realize they never liked me. And it's because of this other person and a long feud.....What do others think?
