    It's an awesome fetish. Normal enough. Fetishes can be caused for incredibly specific reasons or for no reason at all. For many years, I thought I had to have been secretly abused as a child to have as many weird-ass kinks as I do. I probably wasn't.

    Yeah, very common fetish and not related to any kind of abuse, it's more of a social type than anything. Tell him, talk with him about it, find some information on it, and go for it, enjoy it. I LOVE being tied up, the act itself of being tied up arrouses me with no stimulation required.

    I think it's a fairly common fetish. A lot of people enjoy the concept of giving up some control or the opposite, taking control of another person.

    As for whether it's caused by sexual abuse as a child, I have no idea.

    Are you asking whether you should tell you boyfriend about the sexual abuse or about the fetish?

    If you're asking about the fetish, I'd say hint at it a little bit at the right time. If he's alert, he'll pick up on it.

    If you're talking about telling him about the sexual abuse, I don't know. If it was me, I don't think that's something I would want to share with anyone.
