Fear of women and desrespecting them....
Women have always scared me. Not in a extreme way but in a way were asking them for there number or for a date seems disrespectful. For example: I feel like I'm being rude. Tell me what's up....

If you're not gay no need to be defensive about it remember "ask and ye shall receive" I'm sure you could get any girl's number if you're confident
The main reason why men approach women is for sex,
so how is there a right way to ask "can i have sex with you?"
That is EXACTLY how I always felt. Now, I'm 43 and Married. I always was afraid to ask for a date because I was imposing upon a nice young lady who did nothing wrong, and here I come along, forcing her to deal with me. If she has a polite bone in her body, she will be forced to consider whether or not to lie about why she can't. Then, she's bound to think about the awkward situation that I put her in. And if she is pretty, then it's extremely arrogant of me, even rude, to think she can't do better.
This is totally normal. My guess is that you're probably smarter and more perceptive than most guys and you've subconsciously picked up on all of the subtle and not so subtle sexism in today's society and are afraid of contributing to it. Don't worry too much, asking a question is never disrespectful. Women aren't scary. We're just like you ... thankfully with a few more brain cells (no offense).
I agree with oskilover. Normal. It is as if all of the sexuality in society has made its way into the conversation, and the simplest of interactions can seem vulgar. All of the connotations are there, whether you want them to be or not. This is a fear I have as well.
Awww thats cute. Women don't bite or attack, depending on what mood their in and stuff, but thats not the point.
You are probably scared of getting rejected and the biggest rejection to you is probably being turned down by a woman, i don't know if i'm right. If you ask them in a respectful manner then theres nothing to be scared off. and if they don't give it to you then just think to yourself your better than that with you head held up high
it ould also be becouse somthing happened in your child hood that caused this situation as in:
steriotypycaly: you point to a vagina, and your mother slaps your hand saying your a bad kid for doin it, so creating a fear of aproaching females becouse u think your doin somtin bad (as i said steriotypicaly)
If you mean that you don't think it's right to just see some random woman and ask her for a date, then you're right. Don't do stupid things just because everyone else does.
this is not incorrect way
(BURP!) Yeah you look like a cute little cupcake. Wanna come home with me and let me rock your world?
it worked for me
Because you have so little respect for yourself and self-esteem, you believe that you are always punching above your weight. Just how a good looking guy would feel in a club when a big fat minger asks him to dance.
Women don't want to be respected they want to be told what to do, they want someone to lead them and they want to be held down, slapped, called a dirty slag and ragged about the room.
They want men to be men not women.
Give him a break EW. :)
@Poster,
There is nothing disrespectful about asking for a date. Not assuming you are polite and give the lady of your desires a civil intro to you.
Correct Way: Well hello. I was just sitting here and saw that your glass was almost empty. Can I buy you another? My name's _____ by the way. (Smile)
Incorrect Way: (BURP!) Yeah you look like a cute little cupcake. Wanna come home with me and let me rock your world?
I have had guys use Both on me, and believe me, the former is Much better suited to get the kind of results you are after.
Having a kind, polite (Funny - sense of humor is a big plus) guy talk to me is a great thing!

How is asking a woman for her number or a date disrespectful? Most women find that flattering I think. Unless you're asking it when you're drunk or in front of her bf.
