is it normal to b afraid to go underwater? not in like a submarine, just holding my nose closed and dropping under. :\

    i cant even swim but im not afraid the only thing im afraid of is not getting up again

    You can probably get over this (if you want to) by practising how to keep the water out of your nose whilst you're under. And by wearing goggles for swimming so you can see what's going on. Take things very gently. I bet if you join a local adult beginners' swim class you'll be with people in the same situation.

    My grandmother was so afraid of having her head under the water that she couldn't take showers she had to take baths.
