Fear of 666 on phone ever since...

Okay, this is freaky to the max. I remember when I was 10, I was fiddling around with my house phone and decided to dial 666 for kicks. I did, and when the call went through, IT BEGAN RINGING, and there was an answer... I can't share what the voice sounded like or what it said, but it made me wet my pants. Ever since, I've been afraid to dial 666 on any phone, and I even installed an inhibitor in my cell and home phone that prevents 666 from going through if dialed. So, should I calm down since I may be overacting, or are my fears legitimate?

    While your experience is kind of off the wall, you can call any number and get a strange voice - there is a true phobia of 666. http://www.fearofstuff.com/numbers/fear-of-the-number-666/

    other than that. I would say it is completely normal.

    I've never heard of it being done but it is probably a pre-recorded message for anyone that is willing to call it.
    Somebody should do it and tell us about it.
    Not me though lol.

    once my phone became alive and started dialing 666 on it's one. than it's started ringing like if someone was trying to reach me and it was 666. man i got freaking scared. the stupid thing was moving on the table and i was trying to stop it but it didn't. i took the battery but it was still working. than it died and i just stared ate the thing. lol it was scary but at the same time awsome lol my cell phone was alive and it was freaking amazing xD funny stuff like that happen to me all the time lol aahhh... funny x'D

      No I remember this, me & my mate were messing around in phone box and decided to randomly try 0800 666 666 to see what would happen & there was 100% a prerecorded message from satan. It was between 1992 & 1996. I think it might of had something to do with the stone roses as they were really big at the time & in one of there songs the lyrics say something about having a toll-free number you can ring 0800 666. So they would probably of expected kids or people to try the number & did it for a laugh!

      I'm pretty sure what it actually said was "ding dong dong your call could not be completed as dialed, please check your number and dial again"

        Well,even if it did get answered,it was probably just one of those dumb fake numbers that when you dial a clip plays.I remember this one,it was santa.He says:"So you want a sweater,or a teddybear?What the f*ck do you mean a nintendo wii?Are you too god for a sweater or a teddybear?Well f*ck you cause santa isnt made out of money!!!" And then it ends there.Its just college fags with nothing better to do.
