I love Final Fantasy but it's Soul Calibur for me. And yes, I'm going to be really geeky here and say "A tale of souls and swords, eternally retold..." XDDDD
i've been a mario fan since childhood, and i'll be a mario fan till death.
I'll have to go with the Final Fantasy franchise. Amazing music, captivating stories and just overall my favourite. Versus XIII shall be interesting.
I'm with you 100%. By far the best games I've ever played and definitely the most addicting (minus the new one). FFVII has been my favorite since I first played it when I was 10. 10 years later I still play it. The characters are just so amazing
The soundtrack on all of the games are just so emotional and overwhelming. I could never get bored of those games.
Yeah, I'll have to say the one that I think is the best FF would have to be FFX. The graphics when it came out was just mind blowing. The story was sad and just amazing. The music is just a master piece. To Zanarkand just brings back so many memories. I'd like to go to that Distant Worlds music from Final Fantasy if they ever stoped by my city.
Well FFVII had amazing graphics for being in the PS.. I was blown away. But FFX definitely improved a lot with the PS2. They were in their prime back then and did nothing but impress. To Zanarkand is my FAVORITE song out of all of the FF soundtracks that I've heard. :)
I never owned a playstation. I had a N64 and had that until PS2 came out. I caught up on playstation games then but with outdated graphics. But it doesn't matter, the game is great. I hope they'll do a remake on PS3 like they talked about and even made a stage demo a few years back.
you forgot uncharted 2 - which is actually rated number 1 game on ps3 for like 2 years!

Love the fact that Activision (MW) separated from Infinity Ward (COD).
Activision is awesome-errr, that being said, Modern Warfare (from MW2 and so on----eventually).

apparently I'm the only Gears of war fan. I beat all 3. lol. Unfortunately I don't enjoy video games any more. I just cannt have fun like I used to,I guess I grew up :( Maybe I'll read the novels or something.
The Sims although I'm very excited to see Need For Speed here. NFS5 (the Porsche one) was almost perfect for what I want in a game. Shift was similar and it was nice to see them release a game for people like me (reviews of either game weren't good).
