Inception would probably be my favourite followed by the Dark Knight trilogy and then Memento. The only film I actually don't like is Insomnia, I hated it.

If you're life is anything like your name, then I'd assume you're doing well.

My favorites are The Prestige and Memento. I dislike Inception though, it was terribly written.

It is an absolute mystery how someone prefers The Dark Knight Rises to The Dark Knight. I'm not saying you're wrong, but can you give me one piece of compelling evidence not even to why it may be better, but why it's good at all?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to look down on you, I respect you for the most part and that's why I think you can explain it best.

I thought it had a more compelling story. Sure the Joker is a better villain than Bane, but the overall plot was better to me. I think we can agree they were both better than Batman Begins :)

        • Did you know that "The Joker" was just a Tom Waits impression. Nicholson was better.

Really? I didn't pick that up. I will have to re-watch it.

          Haha yep.

If I can inquire a bit what about the story was more compelling? I felt like the dark knight rises was all too predictable as well as, meek? I mean the film hardly said much about Batman or anything, unless you picked up something that I missed. On the other hand, the Batman's struggle with Joker resembles the struggle Batman has always had, to never take a life. The film also speaks on forgiveness, humanity, and has one hell of a twist that I think took everyone for surprise.

Just to remind you all in fair discussion :P

I love them both, don't get me wrong. They are neck and neck. I liked the idea of Bane and his crew holding the whole city captive. I like Bane's back story and the twist on that. I also liked the ending better, when Alfred sees Bruce. Don't want to be a spoiler for anyone who hasn't seen it, but you know what I am talking about.
