The Roaring Twenties by a long chalk. Cloche hats, bobbed hair, flapper dresses, the Charleston, Art Deco, surrealism, skyscrapers, flappers in general. If I had a time machine (and could bear to tear myself away from dinosaurs), I'd spend most of my time in the New York of the 1920s. And I'd go and watch Laurel and Hardy films with a world that had never seen them before.

Totally late 10's 20's, east coast or midwest. Sharp suits, men look like men, girls look like girls.

The Irish, cosa nostra.. John Dillinger assraping the banks, the great depression is not until 30's.

    Proper times!

I would have to go pre-1900's. I am a big fan of pantaloons.

I was under the impression that "pantaloon" is just the old word for "pants". I thought they were pretty much the same thing. Perhaps I was mistaken.

They are technically but when I think of pantaloons I think of the 1700's style men's capri pants.

In the same why that when someone says automoblie instead of car I think of old cars like a model T.

The 1950's all the way. I'm a complete mid-century vintage fanatic and vintage lifestyle enthusiast. I've been wearing full 1950's vintage on a daily basis since he was in high school, almost eight years. I wear vintage dresses or skirts and blouses everyday, all my jewelry and accessories are vintage, I do my hair and makeup in 1950's styles, I even wear vintage foundation garments and stockings everyday without fail. I truly hate modern fashions and love being a vintage girl.

I must admit I am no beauty, but a miniskirt and a pair of stockings/suspenders has never failed to atract attention when I'm out.
Just cross my legs and some men are just putty in my hands.
Life is a funny old thing

In the 1940's there were some RAD uniforms around, especially on the germans...

more realistically, i'd prolly have to go with the 60's *gg* colorful, wide clothing, braless...the only thing i'd dislike is body hair, but clothing style i liked :)

I would say say 1950's and 2010. I think the way people dress now is OK. But I do wish we could dress like were from the Victorian age. With the corsets and poofy dresses.

Early 1990s due to Kurt Cobain beginning to be an icon. My style is mostly long sleeves thrift store attire.

I'd have to say late '80s- early '90s, when everything was bright and neon and just awesome! I can't STAND the '70s, when everything was brown and depressing.

2010's just because that's where we are now, and I quite like the fashion at this time =]

I used to be everything 1950s, but I went back to my original, more modern, style.

in my opinion anything before 2010's is okay. It just comes down to personal preferance to what you like. I voted for 1990's because I loved late 90's fashion and early 2000's. (1997-2004)

On the other hand everything today and like since 2007 seems idiotic. And people find it good just because it's "innovative" or "new". Those words are like buzzwords which make most people wet their pants and wear retarded accessories whilst thinking they look nice. It's awful. Look at lady gaga.

People have set their tolerance levels too low for art. Basically you can poop in a basket and call it the latest hat fashion and people would go wild over it...

You can wear a monocle now, you just have to accept the fact that girls love monocles and you will have to fight them off with a stick!

I think ONLY a monocle would work wonders for the ladys, You could have "little misca" wear it too!

Because I am a huge fashion fan I'll wear almost anything. One day I may go vintage with 1950s/1960s. I may wear the current 1990s rave trend on a night out or just wear the current 2010s clothing for a shopping day. 1920s fashion is supposed to make a huge comeback at the end of December this year (due to the new The Great Gatsby release) so I will be stocking up on my 20s style dresses and scalloped/embellished tops.
You can find something fabulous from every era. I would choose all if I could.
