Family expects me to be more responsible than my older sister.

My family always expects more out of me and they are more lenient with my older sister (not because she knows better). I'm always having to go out of my way do do "responsible" things, while all she does his sit around watching tv/netflix. They get pissed off whenever I go out to hang out with my friends late, but if she were to do it they would have no problem with it. Also they are so quick to wanting to kick me out so I can join the military, but they arent forcing her too much into doing anything.

Note: We just moved in here with my mother and her bf. I'm still trying to find a job, while my sister is making excuses not to get one. I am a female. She does not have any mental disabilities, just lazy when it comes to doing math or having common sense.

Is this normal?

    They made mistakes with the first child, and they don't want to screw you up too. Basically, they don't want you turning out like your sister. She's a lost cause.
