Family constantly fighting with younger sister, iin?

My parents are always fighting with my younger sister, who has ADHD. They hardly ever fight with me. In short, I require much less attention than her. However, they fight about the stupidest stuff constantly. There is at least one fight a day and my younger sister always ends up crying. My sister asks stuff such as why she has to wear the same socks, and takes it much too far. She just doesn't know when to stop. I told my dad I've begun to hate living here, and he yelled at me in the meanest, nastiest way that he could that that was a load of crap. I don't know what to do anymore.

My family is constantly screaming at eachother too because of my younger sister. She'll ask for my parents help, then start screaming at the person trying to help because she thinks she's always right, and then it just falls into chaos, parents start arguing about random shit, my sister goes upstairs pissed off at everyone for no damn reason, and gets off without punishment. Then everybody is at eachothers throats all because my sister acts like a brat who thinks she's entitled to everything and is always right. Glad I'll be out at college before she hits puberty and things really go to hell.

Raise your voice like a man. Be the man of your family. If you don't have respect, you have nothing. (if you are self-employed)

    "she takes it too far"?

Why does it matter so much if her socks match?
I mean who does it hurt?

It sounds more like your family needs to know when reining her is is for her own good and when it's just nit-picking.

    like...

keeping her on track when she's doing her homework. Good
making her get off the computer and clean her room, also good

but getting upset if she's wearing two different socks... what's the big freakin' deal? Will the sock police arrest her and thrash her for it?

it sounds like you all need to take a step back and figure out what is and isn't fight worthy.

and your own reactions aren't going to help. Yelling at your parents over this ... is rather selfish. Yes it sucks that she gets more attention than you do, but that doesn't mean you have the right to beat them up over it. Or that they cannot yell at you for making things harder on them.

        Nope.

However I do like to separate topics with use of the enter key.

        Like this. =)

Kinda like wearing two different socks. It doesn't hurt anyone, but someone will probably try to claim how "bad" it is or invent some drama on how horrible it is that someone would do that.

That's the trick really - learn to tell the difference between real issues and just inventing drama.
