Your partner doesn't sound like she's good for you and you attraction to her daughter could cause a tragedy if you don't leave.

Best advice is what you've been hearing so far - end the relationship and don't do anything with the daughter. You're in an unhappy relationship without love, which is bad, and if you do go for the daughter it will cause a huge amount of pain.

Hey you were pretty much a kid when ya got together. You grew up! Maybe you are realizing you might like someone around your own age now ? Maybe when you guys met you were mature for your age, and now you're an average 28 year old who is more attracted to people around your age. Not just in looks but covnversation and interests as well.

oh deary.. that is quite a sticky situation.. in all honesty, the only thing i would suggest would be to... break off the relationship. Its going to be hard because you will be losing your partner and the other person (her daughter) for whom you love. And its not fair on your partner if you don't love her and your feeling lie for someone else and that someone is not just anyone, its her daughter and this honestly seems like a disaster getting ready to happen. Honestly, even if the daughter did lets say 'like you' what then? will you be willing to scar, yes literally scar, her mother for life and break off a family....

honestly... leave the relationship while you can. I mean, if you hold on, the daughter will find a bf/gf, and your jealousy will kick in which wont be a pleasant site and more problems will occur... I know its hard but i would say break it off, obviously you no longer seem to be in love with ur partner and you said you have fought to keep the relationship up, and i dont think its fair on you having to do all the work....
