When meeting or checking out a guy, I don't go for the expected areas of interest. Instead, I have a habit of rating them based on the shape of their nailbeds. I have my favorite nail shape, and least favorite, and can easily picture and group the shape of my friends nails in my mind. I am easily turned off and will be uneasy to date a guy who has what I define as "bad fingernails". I have a feeling this is NOT normal. Is there anyone out there like me??

    Completely normal. I judge depending on their hair, teeth and freckles.

    I've actually noticed many guys I know looking at my nails as if judging them and I hate small square nails for some reason so I think it's normal... I judge guys on their arms, hands, ears, lips, and hairlessness.... we each like different things

    OHHHHHHHHHHHH my God, I am exactly the same, only i rate people especially guys regarding hoe clean their nails are!!!!!! thanks a lot, i am glad there is soneone else like meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

    Actually the hands, and with them fingernails, would be a point in appraising overall attractiveness. So that you are particularly interested would be as normal as anyone else's area of particular interest.

    To be quiet honest, it is abnormal but not ALL THAT abnormal. Different women have different preferences. If you find guys with bad fingernails a turn off, then you do, it's pretty normal.

    Sounds pretty interesting. I've never heard of a girl thats attracted by a man's fingernails.
    I would imagine if they werent nice looking you could assume many things such as he doesnt take care of himself so he probably wont be able to take care of you either. But hey, attracted to nails isnt't abnormal. I'm attracted by how nice a girl's hair is. I like girls with straight or semi-curly hair

    I have a thing for ears, and have friends who have things for a variety of anatomical parts. I wouldn't say that fingernails are a common thing, but that doesn't make it abnormal. It's a feature that you find attractive, and that's just something that you look for. Nothing wrong or strange about that, though some might think so.
