Extremely irritated by this attitude towards animal nature
Online, I tend to see a lot of people getting angry over what non-human animals do in nature. For example, when I see a video on a safari about animal predators there are many people who say stuff like "I hate lions they're mean" and "Why didn't the cameramen kill the lions and help the deer?" as if they were expecting nature to be like a fluffy Disney movie. Even worse was that one person went as far as to say that she deliberately runs over geese with her car because she saw some goose viciously killing a duck. I agree that humans should not be cruel to any sentient beings (including each other), and I don't approve of people intentionally using animals as sentinels to exact brutality either, but I get really annoyed by those people who act like human morality must apply to every animal. Is it normal to be really irritated when people do this?
