Excited for the holidays?

How much time before the holiday season do you start preparing or looking forward to it? Before you start looking forward to seeing family and getting festive?
Or...do you dread it?

I don't celebrate or take part in these festivities. 5
I start getting excited for the holiday season a few months prior 13
I wait until the last minute for anything holiday-related 10
I avoid the holiday season and the people who love it at all costs 4
I miss the holidays and the people I share it with all year 3
I prepare and enjoy it for an appropriate timeframe 16

    I'm Atheist, but I still like getting together with family in December and having a good meal with them. I also participate in gift-giving because it's a lot of fun. We don't go overboard with it though and don't use religious-based decorations. Other than that, all holidays are just another day off from the grind. I know birthdays aren't technically holidays, but I like those too.

    Well, I've already begun on Halloween (aka: my favorite time of the year!) and a few days ago I started singing Christmas songs, so I'd say at least 4 months in advance :) Especially for Halloween. Man, I've been ready for Halloween since November 1'st of last year!

    I was originally born on Christmas Eve, but my family and I has always celebrated it the 29th December. Point is: I LOVE CHRISTMAS!! :D In my family, there is so much celebration in December, and I love it ^^ But then I've never really cared much for all the other holidays :P

    God I eFFIN Love christmas theres jjust something about the coldness and the food and the cute winter clothes and everyone getting together

    A year or two ago, I hid. My daughter knew I was at home and everyone here thought I was off in another state visiting her (because I did the year before). If you aren't widowed and single, you probably won't understand why I did that.

    I'm not really one for holidays. Halloween I like, its also my anniversary so that's cool. Christmas doesn't do it for me. Too much hassle and whatnot. I'm not a scrooge or anything, but I could do without it. Thanksgiving is a lie, and the rest of 'em, I just don't pay them much mind

    i think about halloween year-round and prepare around september and decorate around early october.
