Excessively wondering about other people
Hi there. I live in a major world city that is both heavily populated and visited by other people. I'm not an especially social person, but I've found that while walking in crowds, I find myself wondering about the other people around me. I imagine their names, jobs, lives, where they're going, where they're coming from, etc.
Even when sitting on the porch of my apartment late at night, I watch the little twinkling headlights of cars crossing the bridge into the city, and repeat the same process. I'm not disturbed by it, though I am occasionally mildly annoyed by it. This is a daily occurrence, and it almost makes me feel happy in a weird way. Does anyone else excessively wonder about complete strangers?
