..... still have sex on occasions. Not special ones, and no set time, but from time to time we either screw or she lets me fondle her jack off. Is this normal? We both are seeing other people.

    Might just be a genetic thing. Many researchers have evidence (note, I did not say proof) that primates (including humans) are more inclined toward polygamy than monogamy.

    The genetic explanation would be a) it gives variations to genes and thus gives a better chance of survival amongst the offspring in case one of them is too genetically flawed to function. In the case of monogamy, such a flaw, could create an inferior gene line that is likely to completely perish with time b) it makes for a faster proliferation amongst a species population.

    From a scientific perspective, monogamy is not normal. From a sentimental one, polygamy is not normal.
