Ok so I dated a guy for over a year and about a month ago I dumped him, it was quick and easy and no feelings were hurt. We both knew it was time to end it, we hardly ever talked, saw each other, and he completely took me for granted. We haven't talked since we broke up until recently, he texted me saying he misses me, he can't stop thinking about me, and he always wanted to b with me. I defiantly don't want him back, and I know he knows it wouldn't work out again, but I'm not completely sure of his motives

    He took you for granted before. He'll do it again unless you know he really turned his life around. You can always be casual friends.

    Maybe it's does miss you, we usually don't know how good we have until it's too late. But in saying that you must also be true to yourself. Did he make you happy. Do you have still feelings for him, do you miss him. If any of this answers are no than it's time to move on.

    He could be just bored and not having a lot of luck dating. I've done that, and my ex's have done it too, and its kind of a "what do I have to lose" mentality. If it's gonna be a waste of time then just tell him so.
