My ex bf and I keep in touch. One time we were talking and he sent a goodnight with a kiss emoticon. He randomly sends hugs and even an xo through text. I don't ask him why he does this and I know he has a gf although I don't ask. What does it mean when guys do this. I'm confused and I do still care for him.
I don't think you should be texting your ex if you still having feelings for him. Find a guy for yourself and then when you've moved on see if he would be interested in a friendship.
He obviously still likes you but yes, ask him and establish where you guys stand. I can relate. My ex and I keep in touch too but keep our distance as well cause I established that right in the beginning. Just cause were okay talking doesn't mean somethings going to happen. I broke up with him cause i just know he wasnt for me so i know as for me, im never getting back w him and hes just a friend. When we first texted as exes he called me the nickname he would call me as a Gf and I told him to not call me that and not get comfortable. He understood and now we totally understand each other.
Id say he probably still cares for you too.. could be for the cheek/forehead maybe although unlikely. You should totally ask, establish what you guys are nd f he actually has a gf.
