    It may not be normal but who cares? Be whoever the fuck you want, nobody else matters. It sounds like he may have some gay feelings for you though. Be careful though, if he perceives that you're trying to hook up with him or anything close, he may get overly defensive. It could also ruin your relationship, especially if he does have homosexual urges and is in denial just repressing them. It could make you seem like a danger to the way he sees himself, and could put you in the cross hairs if he's violent. That's the cause of a lot of the hate crimes against homosexuals in the last half century.
