I don't give a shit either way about immigration, I neither support or oppose it. *shrug* as long as any immigrant coming in respects secular values, let them come.
I feel like this discussion about "cultural clash" is less to do with immigration in any particular society, and more to do with universal human rights in all societies.
I'm very strongly against cultural relativism and politically-enforced multiculturalism (although multiculturalism as a social lived experience is fine).
"Culture" and morality are things that need to be open to criticism, discussed, revised, improved, and agreed upon based on a universal and logical standard of individual rights (not group rights). I'm not going to respect and defend someone butchering their daughter's vagina as "cultural practice" just because ancient superstition promotes the idea, regardless of whether they're doing it in Copenhagen or Cairo.

You are confusing so many issues. Most of the millions flooding into Europe are decent people trying to escape from indecent people. The war has little to do with Islam. It has to do with terrorists wanting power. And other regimes wanting their money from selling guns to the terrorists. And other regimes wanting to step in and take power when the terrorists have dismantled the countries enough to create chaos. Then the fundamentalists step in and set up more rules to kerp themselves in power, and commit atrocities on thise who don't follow their self made rules. These are not rules of Islam. They are antiquated means of trying to keep power.
