Euphoric buzz when thinking about killing oneself?

Is it normal if I feel a euphoric buzz in my head when I fantasize various situations of my death? I take 20mg Fluoxitine a day for Minor Depression and anxiety, college student. Would it possibly have something to do with the desire for all to be over and the result of my death would obviously be "it all being over"?

    It could be a side effect effect of your meds, especially if you were misdiagnosed and actually have bipolar disorder...antidepressants can trigger mania (ie euphoria) coupled with suicidal thoughts. As the others said, go back to your doctor right away.

    A lot of anti depressant and anti anxiety meds include suicidal thoughts as a side effect. Tell your dr immediately.
