A friend of mine is Ethiopian.
We were having lunch at McDonalds and I bought him a cheeseburger.
He said that he was allergic to cheese and I asked him why.
He said "it's a Ethiopian thing".
Now I'm really worried because I have a lot of Ethiopian friends who I have given food containing cheese.
is it normal for Ethiopians to be allergic to cheese?

    They could be allergic to cow's milk. In many parts of the world, goat is the most common milk to be drunk. Then there are other types of milk, which tend to be drunk based on region.

    Could be lying to you...And if I were you I would have asked about it more. I've made up some weird excuses just because I didn't like a certain product.

      Yeah, there might have been a sinister motive behind it. Because I also had the cheeseburger.
      Maybe he is trying to assassinate me, as I am an important figure hated by the notorious Ethiopian mafia.
