I understand your fear. I work in a department store and lots of accidents happen on them. Never wear thongs on them. Google it

I hate elevators, they make me sick to my stomache. So yeah its normal to fear escalators

Its rather normal, instead of using sheer willpower I recommend you find a good book addressing the matter, how about a E-book on piratebay or whatever? Overcoming fears and anxiety's is probably a good search, now if you are not a rebel such as myself you may actually want to buy a book, but never forget that sheer willpower is useless if you do not have the right thoughts and motivation to back it up, good luck soldier.

This is not abnormal, nor is any other fear, regardless of how rare or seemingly irrational it is. Try to overcome it though.

I am very cautious about escalators because I have big feet and I have to make sure they are planted.

my sister is 13 and she is afraid of escalator so we have to force on them but me i like the end of the escalator because i like it when it just pushes me of and i don't have to step off my friend was sucked up by an escalator and died hos sad
