It's a kind of freedom when you know that your life doesn't hinge on other people's judgements. Just don't get too aloof. You can end up detached and apathetic. Find someone who's opinion you do care about. No it's not normal, but if you were normal you would let everyone else make your decisions for you.

If you are saying you are different and hated for it makes sense to do it anyways. Like if you want to be interesting and creative but schools wants you to confirm and you thinks its funny that they get upset its normal.

Ha you remind me of this one kid in high school who I used to hang out with. He would always try to piss people off or try to represent "his logic" he and I havent seen eachother sinced I moved to the US

Well, you may be wanting the attention that people get for being different or original. However you may lack the drive, ambition or creativity to do it as a pop star or inventor.

So being a "dick" is a way to go about it. However, everytime you get someone upset with you, and feel like you got some little victory just remember. It reaffirms to you that you are not supposed to be liked or loved.

Try this, if you're only pissing people off, then you're not that talented. If you're seriously able to execute what you intend to do, which you claim is your ability to piss people off, then prove you can do something more than that. Otherwise you may just be enjoying it because you have no choice, since no one else would like you anyway.

They are just pissed off because they don't have your outlook on life and they will never be happy-go-lucky just sore losers in life. To that I say piss them off... fuck it.

I suppose that negative attention for you is better than no attention at all.
