I met this girl at the gym through a mutual friend and was blown away by her looks. She’s two years older than me so I expected our dating relationship to be on a more “mature” level as they have been when I’ve dated older women. However, two weeks in, she’s already talking about love and giving me a spare key to her apartment. I feel that if I don’t try to slow things down soon, I may lose a good one. Is this normal?

    Why would going fast in a relationship, but in a mature venture, lose you a good one? Confusing...

    If you're not happy though, just tell her it's moving too fast. But avoid the cliches because those conversations usually mask the fact you're not into someone. And frankly, it sounds like you're not. If you're saying that the way she's showing affection to you is weird, then you've probably already lost her. Only Inception-like - in your mind. It's up to you.

    If you feel your moving too fast. Then tell her. Just because she's older doesn't mean she's more mature. Communication communication communication. But.. Don't be a douche about it ya know. As men we feel obligated to please our women so we want to give them everything they want so they'll stay. Now it's our turn. She needs to give u time. If u don't say anything, ull be hearing wedding bells and baby's crying in the next 2 weeks.

    If she really "loves" you, she'll understand. Or she should.
