Emphysema and copd at 35

I was diagnosed with mild emphysema last week and chronic bronchitis by my pulminologist (I've been paranoid bout lung cancer thanks tp losing quite a few family members to cancer and lung cancer the past 3 years ) what for me paranoid is my fingers have clubbed some , slightly but def bulbous all tho for who familiar with schamroths window test i am not clubbed at all going by the diamond shaped windows still being in between my nails when I place nails of opposite hands up against each other , anyway has anyone , hopefully older than me by at I east 10 years, ever been diagnosed with mild emphysema at a young age of 35 ? Pulmonary doctor says it came up in ct scan which I took to put my mind at ease that I cancer free which winded up not being the case , the putting my mind at ease so far I cancer free from what he's told me in terms of results but I got chronic bronchitis and mild emphysema as well as 2 lung nodules one on each lung , one which I've known about for years which hasn't grown in size and a new one i was just informed of thanks to ct scan which is 5mm om size anyway any 1 who can share they're eexperience if any with similar situation ? Thank you

    The onset of emphysema is typically around the age of 40, so you're not too far off, but it can be diagnosed earlier if you are a chronic smoker, or exposed to other enivorinmental factors- smoking is one of the leading causes.

    Emphysema is an irreversible condition, but luckily your case is mild. If you are a smoker, you should quit now, especially if you have a family history of lung cancer.

    What i was trying to say for you arrogant responders , is I have slightly clubbed fingers ,am a current smoker for 18 years and was recently diagnosed with mild emphysema anf was looking for people with similar issues , people preferably older than myself being that if they too were diagnosed with mild emphysema and they are in their late 40s or even 50s , it would five me a good picture as tp other people's experience with emphysema, eventho the same disease obviously affects each individual differently !?
