I recently realized my "how I lost my virginity" story is rather pathetic, and a little embarrassing! This got me wondering, how many people out there have an embarrassing "how I lost it story" like I do?
is it normal that the first time I had sex, it was so painfully awkward that I was glad it was over?

Ummm, well not losing my virginity... but first time I 69'ed a guy I looked up from sucking his dick through the crack in my door to see my mom, on her hands and knees, sneaking towards the room to catch us. XD

I regulary had sex at home and i'm certain my parents heared(because when my sister had sex, i could hear it in the living room), but they luckily never tried to "save us from corruption". I guess they figured that we'd do what we want anyway, and better home in a save environment than somewhere else. *shrug*
Actually both of my parents walked in on me once right at the beginning of "sessions" pretty much seeing everything, my mum once as i was going on top of a boy(and what accurate timing, she opened the door just as i was lowering myself), and my dad once when i was 69'ing with my first girlfriend, both closed the door in a hurry and never mentioned anything(and funnily both times i was looking away from the door, so my partners were the ones to realize first...my mum also spilled the home-made lemonade she meant to bring us, but outside my room) ^_^
anyway, guess that shows that you have no effect whatsoever on how kids turn out, may as well just protect them on their way and let things turn out as they will ^_^
haha "just as I was lowering myself" So this poor guy was right in the middle of one of the best parts of sex (initial penetration) and he got a eye full of your mothers horrified face. I cannot express how funny I find this!
haha, but my mum was just about to come in and left again before fully figuring what she just saw(hence the sudden movement and the spilled lemonade). She just had impeccable timing for the moment.
I think it was more spectacular for my dad, he came in with printouts about what would be my first car, all proud of what he found online and looking at his sheets and explaining, not knowing i was not alone. He almost got to the middle of the room(probably because we just kinda froze...hectic movements would not have helped cover anything) before he looked up from the printouts, paused talking and scanned for my presence *gg*
As an added bonus, that girlfriend i had then was the daughter of a guy working with my dad(and her family did not know then she was lesbian). Come to think of it, my dad may have been the only man ever to see her during sexual activity *gg*
Hah, oh wow. Definitely fortunate your parents were so chill about it, mine were... a bit odd when I was younger. I once got in a bit of trouble for hanging out in my room with a guy in a T-shirt and underwear, was 18 at the time. >.O I couldn't even imagine one of my parents walking in on me, what would happen, that family is so repressed.
I'm living in an apartment now, but with the recession and cost of rent in this area, my parents are looking at converting part of their place into an apartment for me.. No fucking way I can afford college and rent at the same time right now. >.< Gonna be interesting to see how things play out once I move back...

Funny thing is, my parents also are rather conservative...but i guess they had some serious talk with one another(and probably outside people) after figuring that my elder sister started having sex.
You could see they weren't fully "chill" about it, but they played it cool :) If my sis was at it, they just upped the TV's volume with semifrozen faces ^_^
I just took advantage of the grounds prepared by my sis...why re-invent the wheel, i guess :)
As for your apartment, i am sorry to hear :(
Maybe you could afford rent a bit further outside? I couldn't imagine moving back in with my parents. While they were pretty cool, it still was a liberation to be "alone".
As for that last part: depends on where you are, in europe most of the university cities have outdoor areas you could...take advantage of ;)
and since you seemed to worry more about rent than about tuition i'd just guess it's somewhere in europe?
also, did you think about moving in with other students? Like, sure, you would only have one room to yourself, but personally, i'd much prefer one room of perfect freedom over a whole floor with my parents around ^_^
Well make sure and update us on how that goes! You could always buy soundproofing for your portion of the house! lolz

Every time this question gets asked, I always think it's going to be the time I'm brave enough to answer it. In the last community I was part of, I've never lived it down when I was open about it. Although it was just good-natured joking, and I didn't mind, I was amazed at how much of an impression it made on people and that alone made me feel like a freak.
I couldn't get it up the first time, I was so nervous, that was horrifically embarrassing. But technically that caused me not to lose my virginity at that time.
That is a little bit embarrassing, but luckily it is one of those things you look back on later and laugh your ass of! XD

I honestly think the problem was i was 95% sure she was inviting me over the next day to fuck me, and being it was my first time I didn't get a wink of sleep.
