It's a sad, unfortunate circumstance. Smart people should have more kids and dumb people less but with how the world is, it'd be best if no one had kids for atleast a decade (or longer depending on how long it'd take us to get to healthier numbers). We're killing this planet at a rapid pace and our population has been revealed to still increase by 2050 (It won't level off as the experts once thought). By 2100, there's the possibility of there being 13 Billion (yes, you read that right) people on Earth. To me, that's alot sadder.

People argue that you could fit all 7 Billion+ in the state of Texas. But these are the same people who don't take into account where all the resources needed to support such a population will go or how severe the pollution will affect the entire biosphere. If we don't take care of it, humanity will die out.

Unfortunately, even if we had a reward system in place to reward those who don't/won't have kids, it's probably too late.

Why don't you have a bunch of babies if you're so smart?

over here in Australia, single mum's get a baby bonus from the government, a welfare payment to help bring up the child. My time in the drug scene I saw lots of women who had babies for the money that they would then spend on themselves. It was really heartbreaking.

It's very simple y educated people dnt hv many kids lk uneducated people. It's cause smart knw its there responsibility to raise a child. They dnt expect the state to help them so they gv there plans for life in order first. Whn uneducated people look at it lk oh I can get more money frm the state if I hv more kids. There have been studies done in Belgium about how gigantic countries like china and India are increasing the worlds population. What they found astounded me. The world population is gonna start leveling out and falling over the next hundred years or so. Those ignorant people ur talking about are finally seeing that having a huge family isn't helping them or anyone else. Chinese families in rural areas (typically the largest families I. China live in rural farming areas) send their men off to the city to work and send home money while they kill or poison their daughters if they can't sell them to the western world for adoption. Meaning that the breeding population in china is about to hit a very solid brick wall

This is why human intelligence is heading downward. Dumber people will be more easily manipulated by smart people.

Actually, I would think it's best for smart people not to breed, so that they can focus better on educating the poor and rich alike. For it is both that crush the economy with their selfish ignorance.
