Yes, Im in the US we have one definite case in Texas and one possible in Nebraska.
The Texas one pisses me off, dude knew he was exposed--a woman died of ebola in his house--and lied to get here. Potentially exposed who knows how many people.
The Nebraska one is a reporter and says he may have gotten it from disinfecting a car someone did in and the water splashed in his face.
So much for the direct contact theory :(
I'm in the U.S., so what whisty said holds for me.
Also, to the unspeakable cunt goblin who seems to think that seems to think that the rest of the world is unaffected by Ebola...my best friends brother, who lived with me and is quintessentially my brother, was just deployed to Liberia with the marine corp. he is one of over 3000 troops from America alone, so yes, it does effect people in other countries.
U.S. patient zero just died. I hope they bury him without removing his isolation suit.
Treating it like what it is? Its a fucking virus outbreak, not the apocalypse, and there's no need for you to contribute to the never ending collection of posts about it on this site. Its annoying and unnessecary, and does not affect you in any way, whatsofuckingever, so kindly knock it off with the ebola bullshit and post about something interesting, or go find a site designed for people who enjoy being up in arms about something that's got absolutely fuckall to do with them.
I'm getting pretty fucking sick of hearing about Ebola now. Let it go already! Unless someone you know died from it, why the fuck do you care?
I'm not trying to be rude and yes, hearing about Ebola everywhere can be annoying, but there's really no need to lash out at the OP for it.
Yeah.. I'm not gonna apologize for asking a simple, honest question without any kind of hate in it.
Also, -if- I stated in my post that hundreds of people are dying slow, painful deaths and several are being left in the street for dead, I definitely wouldn't apologize for giving a shit about that. I imagine it isn't pleasant to be stuck in quarantined country living in perpetual fear of becoming the human being writhing on the ground next to you and I sure as fuck won't let it go. It's too bad if feeling things makes you uncomfortable, but you're just gonna have to hear about it sometimes.
Pal, I live in SA. I'm pretty sure there's more Ebola here than whatever fancy shmancy country you're living in. Our country is 3rd world, and we are used to things like disease out breaks and a whole catalogue of other problems that people living in the USA and places alike only ever read about on the news.
I'm sick of everyone being up in arms about the fucking ebola virus like its the very first virus to take the world by storm. Stop treating it like a fucking zombie apocalypse you whiney asshole, its just a disease that a bunch of bat eating, filthy living people are dying from. Nothing new where I live.
England, and I don't think so.
I think people are over-reacting at the moment, the swine flu epidemic was much worse
