Eating curry powder

This is my first real submission ever, in the 5.5 years I've been here. Be happy.

After going to the local curry house, my knees almost buckled from the awesome taste of an authentic Caribbean roti. Incidentally I'm a horrible cook but I still had some curry powder left over from my attempts to feed myself. So I started eating a couple spoonfuls every night or so, right out of the container. I like to let it sit on my tongue and let the aroma fill my sinuses. I start coughing like a motherfucker, of course, but it leaves a pleasant aftertaste like after an expensive, decent meal.

Incidentally, I have few friends and I haven't seen a woman in years.

Until I read this, I had no idea Caribbean cuisine had rotis too. I've only ever seen them as Indian sub-continent fare. Well, you learn something every day!

I like to eat cocoa powder and undiluted cordial because I like the concentrated taste, so I guess it's the same kinda thing.

  • I've seen this on YouTube...crazy and funny but least its not drug taking so its normal enough...though I'd personally prefer not to do it :)

Actually, I prefer Malaysian curry. They sem to have perfected the balance of flavors and the stew consistency. Mmmm, I just decided we're going to my favorite spot on Saturday.

Curry powder is awesome, so i give you props for that. I think it's dangerous to ingest it that way though.our mouths do not digest powders very fast, so it's easy to choke on them. I've heard of people playing a dangerous game like this, but involving cinnamon powder or something... Much like playing "How many crackers can i eat without drinking anything?"... but presumably more dangerous with powders.
