Easter is by far the most underwhelming holiday there is. The whole point of Easter is to eat exuberant amounts of chocolate, you get excited about eating a load of it and then two bars in you feel sick and regret all of your life choices

    As with all holidays, businesses see it as another opportunity to try to sell us stuff we don't really need and which is often actually harmful to us.

    So, yeah, the commercial side is tacky. It's important to Christians, but I don't believe in that myth, so that leaves me cold as well.

    The only thing Easter signifies to me is that winter is passing, the days are getting longer, the world is getting greener, and warmer days are coming.

    I usually wait until after Easter to dine on candy. The bags go on clearance for like 70-90% off. I buy a bunch, store it in the freezer, and it lasts for months. I just finished the last of the Halloween candy, so it's time to stock up. XD
