Dreamt about freddy krueger is it normal?

Obviously, since i've been seeing alot of the good old horror flicks with Freddy Krueger in them (Nightmare on elmstreet) it also turned out that yesterday i would be having quite a dream about him...

Sorry for any misspelling, i'm danish.. So here goes:

It all happened pretty fast in my "Freddy" dream but felt pretty real and i suddenly got a clear view of things as i found myself trapped inside a basement with those hot pipes all around me.. He was teasing me, trying to get to me but suddenly i saw him walking away, he entered a door and continued along the way.... I thought he started leaving me alone, so after i thought he was gone i got closer to the same door since (It's the only door) and as soon as i touched the door knob i heard Freddy laughing and he almost jumped in my face.. Dream ends with me running just right before freddy grabs me with his claws.

It was actually quite funny to dream this way, but i wouldn't mind not dreaming about him anymore.

    I used to always have dreams about Freddy Krueger. But me and Freddy were always friends in my dreams.
