Dreams where your teeth fall out

Is it normal to have dreams where all your teeth fall out? My mother told me that this is a "universal dream" that almost everyone has at some point in there life, but I'm wondering if she was just BSing me. I've had this kind of dream at least 3 times that I can remember. Anyone else?

    I've had that dream too.

I think I was putting pressure on one of the nerves in my jaw while I slept, cos my teeth were in pain too.

I looked it up once and it means that you are feeling insecure about something.

Once i had a dream in which my teeth became like pomegranate ,red in color and when i tried to wash , all those turned into red water which i guess must be blood. It was horrible.

I have this dream pretty regularly.
One by one my teeth start to get loose, then they all crumble out.
When I wake up, my teeth and jaws usually hurt.
I think it's just a reaction to grinding my teeth. Kind of like when you're watching tv and you dream what they say. Real life becomes your dream.

It's a pretty common dream for most people. I used to dream that anytime I put my retainer in at night since my teeth would get a little looser. Scared me so much that I stopped putting in my retainer at night and now my teeth are sort of crooked :S

I've had this dream on a reoccurring basis for over a decade now, usually 3 or 4 times a month. Sometimes, they feel so real I wake up with my fingers in my mouth making sure all my teeth are still there. It's a common dream, that's not BS.

Some explanations for it are a fear of embarrassment, or having a sense of hopelessness or powerlessness over certain situations in your life.

A quick search on Google could give you a better understanding of its underlying meaning for you. It can vary depending on circumstances in your life.

My teeth were a row of sea shells... and they kept falling out.. But yes, in answer to your question, this is considered normal.

I read that dreams like this mean you care what other people think of you, and you are worried about vanity.

I have dreams like that all the time. Haven't had one in quite a while, but I used to a lot during my high school years. I believe that dreaming about teeth falling out is supposed to mean you are worried about something or feeling really stressed. I have also experienced many dreams in which my jaw feels cemented shut and I can't open it and it feels like my teeth and jaw are being crushed because of all the pressure. I am more prone to believe I am just grinding my teeth really badly sometimes. Again, I think it has to do with feeling stressed.

it means you should start brushing your teeth 2x a day! It's a sign that your teeth are rotting.

Do you have plaque or some black thing on your teethes or teeth?
