Dreams of transforming into a werewolf

I had this dream a few times, I'm laying in my bed at my childhood home( its no longer there it burnt down ). I notice the moonlight shining on bedroom window, I feel afraid right away that I am changing and I hear my Grandfather in the kitchen. Immediately I feel a need to jump out the bedroom window and get away from home before I hurt someone that I love. I manage to get into the woods before I change, when the tranformation completes I'm leaping from rooftop to rooftop, I remember seeing someones dog and it barks at me,I jump at it and in one swipe I kill it. I leap up unto the rooftop again, I hear familiar voices walking down the street, its my friends my first urge is to attack them out of simple bloodlust. But I fight the urge as I didn't want to hurt anyone I know, I direct feelings to get back into the woods and run as fast as I can, I enjoy the feeling of moving fast and quietly but also want to be belligerent and howl for no real apparent reason. I'm trying figure out this dream still, had it last year a couple of times but it still sticks with me.
