Dreaming about an ex that royaly screwed you over

Well I had a dream that my ex and I were together,and he was loving. Being loving was a thing he was good at, however he was a sadistic liar towards the end of our relationship (can't say if he still is I haven't seen him in over 2 years) but I had a dream of us before everything went to hell. Then I remember the crap he put my friends and I through and the dream means almost nothing. So what I'm asking is is it normal to have dreams about an ex boyfriend/girlfriend and miss them despite their manipulative ways?

    Yes it's normal. I think it's better to look at the good things and forgive the past.

    I believe its normal because you were missing the good parts of the relationship, all the good memories that were made.

    Yes! and it's fucking horrible when it happens to me because i mostly dream about my first boyfriend ever(when i was 12/13) and as everyone knows, we never get over our first love. Fucking makes me depressive and hate it that i can't get over it doesn't matter how much time has passed. ¬¬
