Dream of death?

I dream of myself dying often and sometimes I'll be driving down the street and I'll think of getting into an accident that will kill me. OR sometime I would think about getting shot and dying.
Is this normal to be thinking about myself dying this often?

I do have high anxiety problems in real life about fears of dying. But one thing I learned from my parents is that life is, indeed special, and is not to be spent worrying about everything. The meaning of life is to have fun and just be happy. I do understand people have depression, which is indeed not a happy or fun emotion. Just take your mind off death and think about happy things. :)

Well, thinking about yourself dieing is normal. But frequently, I'm not sure. I sometimes have dreams where I am driving down the street and I crash. I wake up and I think about for the next or two. If you are worried about it, maybe you should see a doctor and find the reason for these dreams. But, dieing is apart of life. You can't escape it.

Death dreams are common!!! Don't for one second think that you are a freak or abnormal because of it. It most likely isn't even a sign that you have a subconscious depressive personality either...just worry about that if you have cognitive signs of a mental illness. Usually when you experience death in a dream it signifies change. Death is always looked at as some horrific experience and many people view seeing it in a dream or on a tarot card etc...as a terrible omen...when, in fact, it is a great sign! It means that you are in for a change. Some change is not a happy thing of course but in the long run all change molds and helps you to grow in life. I am in agreement that you should look the specifics up in a Dream Dictionary. Good Luck!

You might want to talk to your doctor and see if there are any signs or symptoms that you might have depression. It's possible to have it without realizing it, and there are meds that can help. If you don't have any symptoms of depression, then I wouldn't worry about it unless you start having more serious thoughts, like trying to find situations to make the thoughts become reality.
