Dream made me fall in love, iin?

Okay, so, you always hear people talking about normal ways to fall in love with someone, like 'it creeps up on you' or, 'it develops over time' etc. Well, not for me.

A couple of years ago, I had this beautiful dream, about going to this masquerade ball. I saw this guy, who (outside of the dream, in real life) was a good friend of mine. Except, in the dream, when I saw him I felt butterflies. I really felt like I was in love with him! I felt embarassed to be there, so I turned away and ran off in the other direction. That's all I remember of the dream. However, when I awoke, my feelings hadn't changed. I still felt the same way about this guy, that I had done in my dream.

(This was ages ago now, I don't even speak to the guy anymore, so, yeah. I just thought I'd put this up)

Wow, good story. Bad ending. Wish I wouldn't have read it. But nice try. Lol

I don't actually agree that dreams reveal what you already felt. I've had very similar dreams and know what you're talking about. Once about a friend that I am very much not now or ever will be in love with. (he's a friend but he kind of disgusts me in his actions and personality. He is a somewhat unhygienic person.). Another time it was actually a female and I am straight. In both cases the feelings lasted a day or two and then passed.

Dreams are very much like a soap opera and what we feel in the dreams are heightened. So if you dream about being in love....it's that crazy mad love feeling. And it feels good so you remember it and hang on after you wake up. But dreaming about being in love with someone does not make it so. It could just be a projection of a feeling you e experienced in real life onto someone you see regularly though the two are in fact not connected in reality.

i agree with heh? maybe subconsciously you always had feelings for this guy, and your dreams finally made you realize this.

Dreams have a funny way of sometimes revealing things that you would not consciously notice, so I would consider it normal.

ms funion is correct. dreams dont create feelings they are only an expression of the feelings you already have, fear, love , etc.
