Dream enactment behavior?

I never notice what I do when I sleep because I am sleeping but I am often told, even at the sleep clinic, that I punch and kick in my sleep. I also say random stuff and fall out of bed and snore. When I had a girlfriend she would sleep in another room because I would hit her in my sleep. I never acted that way when I was awake but I cannot sleep with others or they will get hurt.
