Ive been with my bf for a while and we have a great relationship. He has a horrible memory when it comes to dates though. Hes remembered my birthdays, and our anniverseries but sometimes he will forget an event (like an invitation to a party) I've even had to remind him of his own family events before. Whenever we buy tickets to a concert, he only remembers the day before, or day of if wrote it down somewhere. I was hoping he would come by today for Vday but he didn't and is already at work. Should I get upset or make a deal of it if he forgot? or should I just let it go?

    Let it go. He probably doesn't want to hear about his disability to remember.

    However, you DO deserve to be treated better, Valentines Day is an important holiday for couples, he should know that.

    Just bring it up on a random occasion, not when he does something.

    He probably won't like it, but he'll have to deal with it.

    He is right brain dominant, which means he uses a global memory recall instead of a linear. He has awful short term memory but probably remembers when he was 3-9 years old. It's okay, I would just try to cope with it if you really like him, poor guy prolly thinks hes stupid...
    He is normal, just have mercy on him. :)

    Ohh God.
    I went through the same thing, was in love with one guy, we're talking since 4 years i was thinking that he's my true love and made for me... I never thought he can hide something or lie to me ever, we're talking normal all this time and he wanted to marry me to than he started telling about his problem that his dad is creating problems and he does not want us to be together, than i told you love me so you have to think about it then he said he wants to be with me and he will convince his dad. once he said "there is no one in the world can love him as much i did." i help him every way financly and everything... than he started ignoring my phone little by little I told him you can atleast tell me your dilema and talk with me as friend and be with me. he said he will be my friend in all situations... but he did not return my call since 15 days and finally one girl answered, she was his wife..i did not believe what i heard i can't believe he can do this to me.... he can't be that selfish. now i hate him so much and i am almost dead. I dont knwo what to do..... I am crying since than it's now 15 days...
