My name is odd to pronounce its Collin and i myself don't like telling other people because there first reaction is "what" thinking they didn't hear it correctly which makes me want to punch them in the face is this normal?
Same happens with my name.
People never get it the first time I say it, I have to keep repeating it and sometimes it feels as if I'm not saying it right myself but how can I not! it's my name!
It's really frustrating. Really.
How do you pronounce it? I have a nephew whose name is colin and it's pronounced like the body part (colon)...which doesn't roll off your tongue...I myself have always felt I was misnamed...
its normal about u not liking ur name, but collin isnt very uncommon. me and my friend put up w/ weird pronounciations all the time, so dont worry about ur name and stress about more important things!
I don't like my name, I think it's a boring name. I want to change it to something cool.

My Actual Name is October (I go by Tobra) and I have a twin sister named Winter ... (we were born in a commune and rumore has it that our parents were a tad loaded at the time! lol) so I can identify.
But collin is not a bad name and not that unusual.

Collin is a really common name. Maybe you always just say it too softly or too fast, and people don't catch it.
I think it's a normal name. Maybe it's not your name that you don't like.
